MICROWAVE JAM BARS | |
3/4 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 1/2 c. barley flour 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 c. quick oats 1 c. finely chopped nuts 1 (10 oz.) jar sugar-free raspberry jam Melt butter. Add sugar, cinnamon, barley flour, baking powder, oats and nuts and mix thoroughly. Press 1/2 of this mixture into a glass 13 x 9 inch pan. Microwave on high 2 minutes. Turn. Microwave on high 2 more minutes. Spread jam on top. Then sprinkle reserved half of crumbs evenly over the top and press down lightly. Microwave on high 3 minutes. Turn. Microwave on high 4 more minutes. Cut in squares. |
