TACO SALAD | |
1 head lettuce 1 or 2 tomatoes, diced 1 (8 oz.) pinto beans, drained 1 sm. can sliced Vlasic black olives, drained 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 bag Nacho cheese Doritos 1 lb. ground beef 1 pkg. Lawry's taco seasoning mix 1 sm. jar Catalina salad dressing 1 sm. jar Thousand Island dressing 1. Prepare ground beef according to the instructions on the back of taco mix. 2. While beef is cooking, wash lettuce and break into bite-size pieces. Put in a large bowl. 3. Wash and cube tomatoes. Put in with lettuce. Mix. 4. Add drained pinto beans to lettuce. Mix. 5. Add drained black olives. Mix. 6. Add Cheddar cheese; mix well. 7. Add ground beef while hot. Mix well. 8. Refrigerate until ready to serve. 9. Before serving add crushed nacho Doritos. Mix well. 10. Pour Catalina and Thousand Island dressing over the mixture. Mix very well. 11. Serve and enjoy! |
