1 lg. onion 1 lb. pork sausage 1 c. rice 1 green pepper 2 pkgs. Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup 1 c. celery, chopped 4 1/2 c. water 1/2 lb. almonds Fry pork sausage; cut into small pieces. Remove from frying pan. Leave 2 tablespoons of fat in pan. Add chopped vegetables to this 2 tablespoons fat and simmer for 20 minutes. Cook soup mix in water for 7 minutes. Combine sausage, vegetables, noodle soup and rice. Cook in casserole for 1.5 hours. Add almonds for last 5 minutes. |
