AUNT BRACHA'S HAMENTASHEN 
1/3 c. oil
2/3 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. orange juice
5-6 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Prune and apricot lekvar

Cream oil, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then the orange juice. Mix dry ingredients and vanilla and add to above mixture. Wrap dough and refrigerate 4-5 days. Allow to thaw for three hours. Roll out dough and cut out circle shapes with cookie cutter or glass. Mix prune and apricot lekvar together. Fill circles and pinch. Place on greased cookie sheets and bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. The secret to this recipe is refrigerating the dough.
