BEEF AND NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 box noodles Romanoff with sour cream-cheese sauce mix
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. chopped pimento, optional
1/4 tsp. thyme, crushed
Dash of pepper
1 c. soft bread crumbs
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Prepare noodles with sauce mix according to label directions. Brown meat and onion. Stir in soup, milk, pimento, and seasoning; add noodle mixture.

Turn into 10x6x1 1/2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with mixture of bread crumbs and butter. Bake in moderate 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 5 minutes more. Makes 6 or more servings.
