CRANBERRY RELISH | |
4 c. fresh cranberries 1 c. seedless raisins 1 tbsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. ginger 1 med. (1/2 c.) onion, chopped 1 med. apple, peeled and chopped 1 c. water 1 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. celery, thinly chopped Combine cranberries, raisins, cinnamon, ginger, water, and sugar in large saucepan. Heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until berries pop and mixture thickens. Stir in onions, apple, and celery. Simmer for 15 to 30 minutes or until thick. Chill. Serve hot or cold to accompany poultry or ham. |
