APPLE STRUDEL 
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. cake flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
Milk
4 or 5 apples
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream 2 tablespoons butter and 1 cup sugar. Add egg, cake flour, baking powder and salt. Add just enough milk to make a stiff batter. Add nuts and sliced apples. Pour into an 8-inch square pan.

Mix 1 tablespoon butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over top. Bake for 40 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
