OLD FASHIONED EGG BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2/3 c. milk

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cream of tartar. Add shortening and blend well. Mix in eggs and milk. Beat, then pour out onto floured board. Knead 3 or 4 times. Roll out. Cut into desired sized with biscuit cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake until browned in 450 degree oven.
