1 pt. baking molasses
1 c. Crisco
1 c. sour milk
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. baking soda
Flour to stiffen

Mix ingredients. Roll out about 1/2" thick and cut with cookie cutter. Beat an egg and brush on top before baking at 350 degrees.
