PAT-IN-PAN PIE CRUST | |
1 1/2 c. plus 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. vegetable oil 3 tbsp. cold milk Place flour, sugar, and salt in pie pan and mix with your fingers until blended. In a measuring cup, combine oil and milk and beat with fork until creamy. Pour all at once over flour mixture and mix with a fork until flour is completely moistened. Pat dough with fingers up sides of plate first, then across bottom of pan. Flute edges. Fill shell and bake to directions. For prebaked shell, preheat oven to 425 degrees. Prick surface of shell with fork and bake 15 minutes, checking every 5 minutes and pricking more if needed. 2 c. flour 2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 2/3 c. oil 3 tbsp. milk Wonderful, quick, no fail, for single crust pies only! |
