PORK CHOP SUPREME 
6 pork chops (3/4 inch thick)
Paprika
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1/2 env. dry onion soup mix
2 tbsp. flour
2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped mushrooms

Brown chops with seasoned flour in oil. Drain off oil and add 1 cup water, celery, and soup mix. Cover and cook over low heat 40 to 45 minutes or until tender. Combine flour and 1/4 cup water. Blend into pan juices. Add milk and mushrooms. Cook and stir over low heat until thick and bubbly.
