POUND CAKE 
1 c. milk (sweet)
2 sticks butter, room temperature
4-5 eggs
1/2 c. Crisco (solid in a can)
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
1 tsp. almond

Cream butter, sugar, Crisco, and flavorings. Add 1 egg at a time. Alternate flour and milk (mix with mixture). Put in cold oven. Then turn on for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
