HARD TACK CANDY 
3 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Karo
1 c. water

Put the above in a pan and cook over medium heat. When candy thermometer reaches 270 degrees, add food coloring of your choice, when thermometer reaches 290 degrees add in entire small bottle of flavoring candy oil. Pour into cookie sheet and cool slightly. When cool enough to work with your buttered hands, cut candy with scissors and roll and put into powdered sugar to cover.
