SALAD DRESSING OR MARINADE 
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. vegetable oil
3 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard powder
1/2 tsp. Oriental sesame oil
1/4 tsp. dry ginger powder

FOR DRESSING: Whisk together all ingredients in a small bowl until thoroughly blended. Refrigerate until ready to use, whisk again before pouring over salad.

FOR MARINADE: Double all ingredients and blend together in large baking dish. Add 2 to 3 pounds cubed meat and marinate 1 to 2 hours. To make kabob, alternate chunks of meat with chunks of vegetables. Barbecue or broil 5 minutes per side or until done.
