NUT FILLED TWISTS 
DOUGH:

12 oz. cream cheese
1/2 lb. soft butter
2 c. flour
Powdered sugar

FILLING:

4 c. ground fine walnuts
1/4 c. hot milk
1 c. sugar (in hot milk)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites, beaten stiff

Mix cream cheese and butter together with fork. Slowly add flour to butter mixture. Make 8 small balls. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Roll out on powdered sugar very thin. Cut in pie shape (8 pieces). Mix filling together, folding egg whites last. Spread filling over each piece and roll up like a crescent roll from the wide side. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 19 minutes, until light golden. Sift powdered sugar over each before serving.
