ELEPHANT EARS 
1 tsp. yeast
1/4 c. warm water

Mix together and let set for 5 minutes.

1/4 c. milk
2 1/2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar

Heat together until butter is melted and cool. Add to above.

1/2 c. flour
1 egg

1 1/2 c. flour, approximately, dough should be kneaded together and stiff.

Refrigerate from 3-24 hours. Cover and label. Omit this step if limited on time. Roll out dough 1/8-inch thick and cut in 4-inch circle. Deep fat fry on medium heat about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Brush top with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Yield: 10-12.
