APPLE PIE 
5 sliced Jonathan apples (thin)
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. or more nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. half and half cream
Double pie crust
1 tsp. of allspice (or more)

Place pie crust over bottom of pan. Sprinkle 3/4 of sugar over apples. Sprinkle nutmeg over apples. Sprinkle allspice over apples. Pile apples in pan and sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar and top apples with butter and cream. Cover with other crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes and turn down oven to 350 degrees and cook for 35 more minutes until golden brown.
