LEMON BUTTER FOR ANGEL FOOD CAKE | |
Beat 3 eggs and 1 cup sugar and juice of 2 lemons grated rind (optional) and 1 tablespoon butter. Cook over water about 10 minutes. Cool. Slice angel food cake in half. Spread lemon butter in middle. Place top on and frost with lemon butter. Dribble down the sides. Serve with whipped cream. |
