CRESCENT ROLLS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. milk
1 pkg. rapid rise yeast
1/4 c. water
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar (or less)
4 1/2 c. flour

Scald milk. Pour over butter. Let melt. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water. Beat eggs well. Add salt, sugar, eggs, yeast and flour to milk and butter mixture. Stir well. Let rise until doubled. Flour breadboard. Divide dough into thirds. Flatten out in shape of a circle. Cut into 10 or 12 pie shaped wedges and roll up each one. Place on cookie sheet pointed side down. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Can also be used to make coffee bread or caramel rolls.
