CREAM FILLED CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES 
CAKE:

1 1/4 c. flour, unsifted
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

FILLING:

2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. mini chocolate chips

CAKE: Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Add buttermilk, oil, egg and vanilla. Blend well. Fill 24 muffin cups 1/2 full of batter. Spoon about 1 tablespoon filling into center of each cup before baking.

FILLING: Blend softened cream cheese with sugar and salt in small mixing bowl. Add egg and beat until smooth. Stir in mini chips. Set aside. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes or until tops are golden brown. No frosting is necessary.
