HOT CHOCOLATE FROSTING
1 1/2 tbsp. real unsalted butter
1 tbsp. milk
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar (+ more)
1 tbsp. instant hot chocolate powder (+ more)

Melt butter in microwave until soft.

Stir in milk with a fork until well mixed. With fork whisk in 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar and 1 tbsp. instant hot chocolate.

Keep adding confectioners' sugar, a little bit at a time, until you reach your desired thickness.

Add in hot chocolate powder until you reach your desired chocolateyness.

NOTES:

• This will have a mild chocolate flavor, you could use cocoa powder instead.
• I used soy milk because I am lactose intolerant.
• Frosting thickens upon standing, so you may want to wait until you add more confectioners' sugar.
• This was enough frosting to frost an 8x8-inch pan of brownies.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
