1 8-oz. can almond paste 2 egg whites 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. confectioners' sugar, more or less Break almond paste into small pieces in bowl. Add vanilla, egg whites, and enough sugar to make the mixture stiff enough to handle. Let it stand overnight. It may be molded into small shapes of fruits or vegetables such as pear, apples, peaches, carrots, potatoes, and so on, and colored with vegetable colors. |
