MELON MERINGUE 
2 cantaloupe or honeydew melons, cut in half
1 qt. ice cream or sherbet
Elegant Meringue

Place scoops of ice cream in melon halves. Cover with Elegant Meringue. Broil until lightly brown.

ELEGANT MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
1 c. marshmallow creme
Dash of salt

Beat egg whites and salt until frothy. Add marshmallow creme. Continue beating until stiff peaks form.
