CINNAMON ROLLS
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
butter
3 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. salt
Cinnamon
Brown sugar

Heat milk with shortening over low heat until very warm (shortening does not need to melt). Thoroughly mix 1 cup flour, sugar, salt and dry yeast in bowl. Add liquid to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally. Add eggs and 1 1/2 cups of flour. Blend slowly then beat high for 2 minutes. With wooden spoon, stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough. DO NOT KNEAD. Roll out flat with fingers spread butter over dough. Sprinkle heavily with cinnamon. Roll into a log. Let rise 30 minutes. Cut into slices. Mix some water and brown sugar in 8 x 10 inch pan. Place rolls in pan 1 to 2 inches apart and bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
