WALNUT POUND CAKE 
3 1/4 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. butter
2 c. (1 box) light brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
6 lg. eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/4 tsp. black walnut flavoring
1 c. black walnuts

Sift 3 cups flour with baking powder and set aside. Lightly grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in flour mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Add flavorings. Mix walnuts with remaining 1/4 cup flour and fold into cake mixture. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 350 degrees, or until cake tests done. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
