APPLE DUMPLINGS 
2 pie crusts
6 Granny's apples, peeled and cored

Divide dough into 6 parts. Roll one part at a time. Place apple on square of dough. Put 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, sugar in hold. Pat of butter on top. Enclose apple in dough by wrapping it corner to corner. Place in a deep cake pan. Makes 6. Bake at 425 degrees for 55 minutes.

Cook syrup for 3 minutes. 1 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 3 tbsp. butter

Pour around dumplings and bake 55 minutes.
