LILLIAN'S THANKSGIVING OFFERING 
2 cooked and peeled sweet potatoes
1/2 stick (4 tbsp.) butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 tsp. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 c. condensed milk
A pinch of mace
1 (8 inch) pie crust

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook the sweet potatoes in their skins in boiling water until tender. Peel the potatoes and place in large mixing bowl. Strain the mashed sweet potatoes, if necessary, to get out any strings. Add remaining ingredients and beat until smooth. Fill the pie crust and bake for 45 minutes.
