STRAWBERRY AND PINEAPPLE DIP | |
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese or Neufchatel cheese (less calories) 1/3 c. sugar, powdered sugar or fructose (less calories) 1 tsp. vanilla Let cheese soften at room temperature; mix in sugar and vanilla. Serve with strawberries or pineapple of piccolo cookies (Nabisco). Note: I start with 1/2 of the 1/3 cup of sugar, mixing well and continue to add sugar until I achieve the desired taste. May take more than 1/3 cup, depending on your own taste. You may also add whipping cream to stretch the dip or make softer, if desired. (If adding whipping cream, whip the cream until stiff, then add to cream cheese mixture; may require more sugar, according to taste.) |
