CORN TACO BAKE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. (1 1/8 oz.) Durkee's Taco seasoning
1/2 c. water
1 can (12 oz.) whole corn, drained
1/2 c. chopped pepper, green
1 c. (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 pkg. (8 1/2 oz.) corn muffin mix
1 can (2.8 oz.) Durkee French Fried Onions
1/2 c. (1 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Brown meat; drain. Stir in taco, water, corn, green pepper and sauce. Put in 2 quart casserole.

Next prepare muffin mix using package directions and to this add 1/2 can Durkee French Fried Onions. Spoon this around edge of casserole.

Bake 400 degrees 20 minutes. Top corn bread with cheese and rest of onions. Bake 2 to 3 minutes longer.
