SPECIAL STRAWBERRY SALAD | |
2 2/3 c. crushed pretzels 2 sticks butter, melted 1 lg. and 1 sm. cream cheese (softened) 1 c. sugar 2 c. Cool Whip 6 oz. strawberry Jello 2 c. hot water 20 oz. frozen strawberries 1 (#2) can crushed pineapple (20 oz.), well drained Combine pretzels and butter and press in 9x13 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cool. Mix together the cream cheese and sugar, blend in the Cool Whip. Spread over pretzel mixture. Dissolve Jello in hot water. Stir in strawberries, add pineapple. Refrigerate until quite thick and put on top of cream cheese layer. Refrigerate. |
