COOLEY FAMILY FAMOUS TWO HOUR RIBS | |
one rack of ribs 2 (2 liter ea.) bottles of Dr. Pepper or A&W root beer 1 (18 oz.) bottle Bullseye barbecue sauce Start by pouring both 2 liter bottles into a large pot and bring them to a boil. You can cut the ribs into portion sizes while you wait. When the pop begins to boil you can add the ribs to the pot and turn the heat down to medium high and boil the ribs for 90 minutes. Next prepare a cookie sheet with foil (this is for the ribs to be baked on) and preheat oven to 350°F. After the ribs have boiled for 90 minutes remove them and place them on the cookie sheet and using a BBQ brush apply the Bullseye barbecue sauce (or your favorite sauce will work just fine). Place ribs into preheated oven for another 30 minutes. Remove from heat let cool a little and enjoy! Be ready for a quiet table and happy guests! Leave comments. Thanks and happy eating.
