SHEPHERDS PIE 
4 to 5 med. potatoes, cooked
1 med. sliced green pepper
1 lb. ground beef
1 whole egg
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. shredded cheese
1 med. onion

Mash cooked potatoes, using milk, butter, egg, salt, and pepper. Set aside to cool. Brown ground beef in large skillet, adding onion and green pepper. Drain grease and add 1/2 can of the soup undiluted. Spread 3/4 of potato mixture in 8 to 9 inch pie plate to form a crust. Add ground beef mixture. Mix remaining potatoes with soup. Spread over top of pie. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serves 4 to 6 people.
