SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar (white)
4-5 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour until like pie crust dough. Press into 9 x 13 inch cake pan and poke with fork all over. Bake 1 hour at 300 degrees and 10 minutes at 325 degrees to brown edges. Cut into 1 inch squares immediately when out of oven.
