PUMPKIN CUSTARD 
1 1/2 cups pumpkin
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Cream sugar and eggs. Add all ingredients, except butter. Melt butter and add to other ingredients. Pour into 10-inch pie shell. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes. Turn down oven to 325°F, bake 30 or more minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
