1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon peel
1 1/2 c. lemon juice

Heat water until almost boiling. Add sugar and lemon peel. Stir in lemon juice. Makes approximately 1 quart of syrup. Mix with equal parts of water.
