CRUMBLY APPLE OR PEACH PIE 
Pared apples or peaches
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter

Slice enough pared apples or peaches to fill a deep pie pan heaping full. Mix sugar and cinnamon; add to fruit and stir lightly. Mix remaining ingredients until crumbly and sprinkle over fruit. Bake in moderate oven until fruit is tender.
