CARAMEL CRISPIX 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 minutes, take off and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, pour over 16 ounces Crispix cereal in a brown paper bag. Shake well to coat cereal, microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir. Do this for a total of 4 minutes. Pour on wax paper to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
