1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1 pkg. (small) vanilla instant pudding mix
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts

Mix flour with soda. Combine butter, the sugars and pudding mix in large mixer bowl. Beat until smooth. Beat in eggs. Add flour mixture, then raisins and nuts (batter will be stiff). Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 minutes. 5 dozen.
