CROCK POT CHOP SUEY 
3 lb. beef or pork
chopped celery
chopped onion
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup water or broth
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp. dark molasses
1 small hot pepper, halved and cored
1/2 cup cold water
2 tablespoons corn starch
frozen Chop Suey vegetables and/or bean sprouts
1/4 cup dry sherry (optional)

In a slow cooker add first 8 ingredients. Cook on medium for about 5 hours or until meat is tender.

To thicken sauce, combine well: 1/2 cup cold water and corn starch.

Add thickener to pot with vegetables and dry sherry, if desired. Cook for an additional 1/2 hour before serving.
