GRANDMA'S VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP | |
1 inch water 1 lb. ground beef 1 lg. onion 4 carrots 4 lg. potatoes 1 qt. V8 or tomato juice 1 tsp. Williams chili seasoning Salt and pepper to taste 1 c. frozen peas Take the largest pan you have and put in about 1 inch of water. Crumble ground beef in chunks and place in water. Turn stove on high and let it boil, dice onion and add cubed carrots and potatoes; add when beef and onions have cooked when potatoes and carrots are done. Add tomato juice. Simmer add peas and seasoning. Serves 8. |
