TACO SALAD | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1 onion 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 can red beans or chili beans 2 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 pkg of flour tortillas, (Azteca brand) Brown meat and drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients except tortillas and simmer 20 minutes. Brown tortillas one at a time in a little oil. Drain on paper towel. Place on a plate. Layer meat and bean mixture, shredded lettuce, shredded Cheddar cheese, chopped onion and tomatoes. Top with salsa and serve. |
