HAMBURGER PIE CASSEROLE 
1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
2 cans stewed tomatoes, drained
2 cans chopped green beans
1/2 chopped onion
4-6 med. potatoes
1/2 tbsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Cheddar cheese; optional

Peel and slice potatoes; place in boiling water. Brown ground chuck and drain well. Add tomatoes and onion to ground chuck and cook 5 minutes. Drain green beans and add to meat mixture. Simmer for 5 more minutes and place in a large shallow pan. After draining potatoes, mash with a little milk and butter. Salt and pepper the meat and top with mashed potatoes. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese during the last 10 minutes of cooking, if desired.
