HAMBURGER DE LUXE 
2 lb. lean round steak, ground
1 egg
1 tsp. dry or Engl mustard
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt or to taste
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. chicken broth or consomme
2 med. size onions, thinly sliced

Mix meat, eggs, and seasonings thoroughly. Add consomme gradually, blending well. Shape into patties. Brown them quickly in fat and finish cooking over low heat. Remove burgers from pan and keep them hot. Add onions to fat with pan. Saute over low heat until brown and serve on the side. Serves 4.
