SPIRAL CAKES 
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
2 c. milk
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/3 c. sugar
Oil for frying

Beat eggs and add milk. Sift together dry ingredients. Beating as you pour, add dry ingredients to egg and milk mixture. Let stand for a few minutes. Heat oil. Pour batter a little at a time into a medium funnel, holding your finger over the small end. Remove finger and swirl the batter around the pan making the design; concentric circles. Fry until light brown; drain and serve hot, sprinkled with powdered sugar.
