OLD FASHION BEEF STEW 
2 lb. stew beef, cut in 1 inch cubes
1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. beef broth
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. A-1 Sauce
1 sm. can mushrooms
4 carrots, sliced
3 potatoes, diced
2 onions, chopped
1 stalk celery, sliced
Ketchup to color

Coat meat with flour. Place meat in crock pot. Mix garlic, salt, pepper and broth and pour over meat. Stir. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low (10-12 hours) or on high (4-6 hours). Serve with buttered noodles or biscuits.
