JAPANESE MANDARIN CHICKEN | |
4 whole chicken breasts, skinned & boned 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tsp. instant garlic powder 1/8 tsp. pepper 3/4 c. mixed butter & shortening 1/2 c. chopped parsley 2 c. sour cream 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. paprika 1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs 2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Rinse and dry chicken breasts. Combine sour cream, lemon juice, seasonings and Worcestershire sauce. Add chicken and let stand in refrigerator several hours. Be sure chicken is covered. Roll chicken in crumbs. Arrange on shallow baking pan. Spoon a little butter over each piece. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Mix remaining butter, oranges and parsley. Spoon over chicken and bake for 20 minutes more until tender. |
