FRENCH ONION SOUP 
1/4 c. butter
4 c. thinly sliced onion
4 c. beef broth
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. brown mustard
1/4 c. cream sherry

Melt butter in large pan and add onion, cook until transparent. In a large soup pot or crockpot mix the onions and remaining ingredients. Simmer all ingredients 1/2 hour if on a stove, longer if a crockpot is used.
