FRUIT SALAD, KABOBS, AND AMBROSIA | |
Every kind of fruit you like and can get!! Wash the fruit and clean; peel or cut off any leaves or stems or peels. Then set to work, chopping. When you've piled up as much chopped up fruit as you want, clean up the chopping board and fill up a bowl with your fruit. If you have any leftovers, it's a good idea to squirt some lemon juice on top of everything, then cover and refrigerate. Ambrosia: Some people like to add sour cream with sweetened coconut and little marshmallows. Use about 2 tablespoons of coconut and a handful of marshmallows for every 1/2 cup of sour cream. Fruit Kabobs: For parties, you can buy kabob sticks at the store (they're like long toothpicks) and stick all different kinds of fruit pieces on them. Then pass them around before the meal. |
