PHILLY BRUNCH CAKE 
1/3 c. dark brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter

Combine dry ingredients and cut in butter with two knives or pastry blender until mixture looks like coarse cornmeal.

CAKE:

1/2 c. butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk

Cream together butter and cream cheese; then add sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla next, and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Spread evenly in a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle on topping and pat down on cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
