PASTIES FROM DOWN UNDER 
4 lb. potatoes
2 lb. carrots
1 lb. onions
3 lb. sausage (ground)
5 tsp. salt and pepper
1 tsp. mixed herbs
Pastry - recipe follows

Grate vegetables. Mix well with meat and seasonings. Roll out pastry into 8-inch circles. Cut into semi-circles. Place meat-vegetable mix in center of semi-circle. Moisten edges of pastry.

Fold over and pinch edges together. Pierce pastry with slit. Brush pastry with milk. Bake in 425-450 degree oven on greased sheet until golden.
